For the most part, I have always enjoyed being hairless more than having hair down there. It's easier to upkeep for one and it is cleaner in my opinion. Due to recent life changes, I haven't had time to take care of the massive shrubbery that I've got growing. Which now has me reconsidering taking all the hair off. My skin is used to the harsh chemicals of Nair and Veet but I've never had it waxed. I'm sure it would hurt like a motherfucker, but I think I can handle it.
I had switched from Nair to Veet about a year ago and it works wayyy better. Like Nair, it doesn't really allow for landscaping, but Veet is less painful. It does glob on and kind of melts down my legs if I'm standing. And if I had it waxed, I assume I could ask to leave a patch on, since I know shaving is no longer an option for me as having kids made my vag look like a stripped accordion!
Okay maybe that was an over-exaggeration - I just have self-image issues.
Shaving just causes razor burn and bleeding for me and I’m nowhere near coordinated enough to wax myself. I suppose I could try if I had enough moral support. Or just take the easiest route and have a salon do it.
I'm up in the air on this decision.
Tell me readers… do you wax, Nair, Veet or shave? Do you folks think one is better than the other? Also I'd love to hear experiences with getting your lady parts waxed in a salon, professional vs. scary??
