It takes 4, LR44 batteries which are included for your convenience. There's about 5 different vibrating patterns that you can rotate through before it switches to off, which can easily be pushed by pressing the button on the back of the g-string. Just be careful with this device when you put it on or take it off, as any slight bend will cause it to snap and break like mine did with the very first use. I guess I wasn't paying close attention, as to what I was doing when I was removing it, but it doesn't like to stay in the upright position anymore. It will still work when you wear it, it just won't be as it originally was.

So, with that said. I'm glad I decided to try something like this out as I was very curious. But, I myself would probably not bother with something like this again, as I can get off quicker, easier, better - with my other toys, boyfriends penis and my hand.
