Taking 15 People to Wild Waves - Probably Not a Good Idea

During the summer, my boyfriend and I - usually gather some of our friends and a few of my family members and head to Wild Waves in Tacoma, Wa. It's cheaper to have a group of 15 and I'm all for cheap! Last year we planned a day that ended up falling on a not so hot summer day, but at least it wasn't fucking crowded beyond belief.

This year, it's like they wanted to charge you for every little thing. (pretty standard really) I mean, we literally had to wait in line for an inner tube, because they didn't have as many out for everyone to use as they did the last 2 times we went. Which results in people paying 11 dollars to rent one all day.

That's fucking ridiculous.

My boyfriend and I were getting annoyed, and almost broke down and rented one - but thankfully a double actually came down and we went on our merry way to wait in another line to go down the slide. Mind you, when it got less busy during the evening, people didn't even want to hand off their tubes when there were only a few people in line. I seriously wanted to bitch slap the 40 year old man with his kid for not showing any manners. Stupid asshole, other people are there to enjoy their time and not sit around and wait because douche bags like you don't want to give up their un-rented tube.

BTW, he ended up dropping it off mid-way, so we grabbed it for our friends who were stuck waiting.

That made me want to punch him in the balls even more.

But, before all of this.. Cupcakes ex who I invited to go along, since I thought he was a decent guy and she just wasn't giving him the benefit of the doubt, decided to throw a fit like a 5 year old. We went up to eat lunch, because well - we're smart and actually packed one so we didn't have to spend a fortune on a crusty old hamburger. About 20 minutes went by and he came up there steaming and proceeded to say he's irritated with his eyeballs about to pop out of his head, because we were taking our sweet time and he wanted to have fun! Well fuck you man, we're not there to hold your hand, go fucking play on something - no one said to wait for us. Then we're putting our cooler back in our trunk and he's like "so, you guys are done eating huh?" Why yes, we are. "That's nice, since I am starving and broke and have no money for food." Who's fault is that? Because it surely isn't ours. My boyfriend was being nice and actually offered him some of the leftover sandwich we had and he declined on taking it. First of all, if you're trying to make us feel bad for you, at least take what is being offered, you fucking whiny bitch.

I didn't want to talk to him at all, the whole time we had left there, which was about 6 hours. MY GOD, STAB STAB STAB!

Then I hear from cupcake when we get back into the place that he had scarfed her chili fries along with half of her lemonade down and didn't even offer to pay for half when he had money. She said he actually went over to the beer garden to see how much the beer cost, because he wanted one. So, he wasn't starving nor broke and that's probably why he declined the sandwich - because he knew we would find that out or something. I wouldn't have even cared if he came about it nicely, instead of acting like it was our fault that he wasn't having any fun or there hungry. I never planned to go their to hold his hand while he goes down a slide. Or feed him, when we have to feed ourselves. Like wtf, grow up you ass hat.

Let's just say, I now have better judgement with cupcake, since she knows what she does and doesn't want and I promise I won't try to invite dumb ass ex's again.

I had just seen this side of him that day, so I never knew.

I'm just glad I have an awesome boyfriend who doesn't act retarded like that. WHEW, I think I hit the jackpot in the male gene pool. It was my time to anyways, I had to put up with douche-y ex's as well.

To make this long post short, I had fun - even through that fiasco, because I was there to enjoy myself with my boyfriend. We all kind of split up anyways, as that's expected with 15 people not all wanting to do the same thing at the same time.

But next year, we're going to Silverwood in Idaho. 6 hour drive, but totally worth it, I think.
