I don't know how many of you watch True Blood, but it is one of the best shows currently playing on television right now. I was instantly hooked when my boyfriends friend made us watch the first 2 episodes at his house. Although they weren't really attention grabbing and left you thinking "what the fuck". It did eventually get better as the season went on.
And, If you're into the stupid Twilight glittery, fairy crap, then you'd probably like this as well, only it's 100 times better. Plus you get to see nudity - that's always a plus, EVEN if it is soft-core porn. Except one of the episodes in Season 3, where vampire Bill twists the head of his maker Lorena and fucks her endlessly. That was the most bad ass scene ever, only because I simply hate the bitch and hoped she would die. Only she didn't because vampires don't die duh - unless you happen to stake them in the heart or chop their heads off. Which never occurred, sadly. Oh well, hoping her time will come this season.
She has been ga-ga over Bill who's dating the miss Sookie Stackhouse, who also starred in X-Men as Rogue. It takes place in Bonn Temps, Louisiana where tons of crazy shit seems to happen. Sookie is the main character of the show and the books are based off of her character, which really don't even compare to the television series. I'm on book 5 right now and I seriously like the depth of the show way better, since there's more craziness happening and it doesn't just focus on Sookie. I love her, but I would like to know more about the other stars of the show as well.
So, If you like the fantasy genre, then you would definitely love this show. There's werewolves, shape-shifters, vampires, telepaths, were-panthers, witches and possibly more (I'm not that far yet, to see if anything else has showed it's weary face.)
What more could you ask for in a hot, fantasy type show? Even Cupcake had came to the dark side and started watching it after my millionth attempt. She's completely hooked, just ask her.
